(Centre) with delegates at a course hosted by 'The Chord Company'
BADA (British Audio-Visual Dealers Association) is reaffirming its commitment to raise standards within the UK hi-fi and home cinema industry with the latest in its series Demcraft training courses.
The Demcraft programme is designed to teach new BADA retail staff members how to maximise the performance of the products they’re demonstrating helping to highlight the differences between products. Many experienced staff members and Managers have also found the course invaluable.
The one-day course focuses on the enjoyment of the system by the prospective purchaser, using the demo as a powerful comparison tool. Follow-up, shop-based exercises are also required to pass the course.
BADA Chairman Ian Anderson said:
Demcraft is an important discipline as it is only through correct setup and attention to detail that the true potential of audio products can be revealed. BADA dealers are committed to offering demonstrations that show the audible differences between products making an informed choice easier for the customer. The same discipline applies during installation ensuring chosen products will perform to their maximum.
Members attending the training courses have been impressed with the quality and content of the programme: “It was beyond my expectation,” commented one. “This training has helped me no end,” said another.
